Mr. Dan McDonough
Dan McDonough, a National Karate 3rd degree black belt, is the head instructor of our Cottage Grove location. He received his first black belt on March 20, 1993 in just under two years time.
Mr. McDonough participates in several competitions every year, in multiple events. He has acquired over 500 trophies, plaques, medals, and other competition awards since his first competition as a gold belt in 1991. Mr. McDonough has also trained his students to become very successful competitors as well, including national and world champions.
Mr. McDonough currently works as a computer engineer while persuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a goals of also majoring in Mathematics and Physics.
Mr. McDonough's wife, Kelly, is also a black belt and instructor with National Karate. Together with their new baby girl, Valerie, the McDonoughs reside in Rosemount.
