Hello NKCG. It will be good to meet you all when this storm passes. My name is Mr. Dan Schultz and I have been a friend of many of the NKCG black belts for many years (Mr. McDonough tied my first black belt on many many years ago). I am looking forward to learning the NK system over the next several weeks (hopefully not months, but as I look down at the midsection, it may be months!) and crossing my black belt over to NK so that we can work together, that is if it's OK with Mr. McDonough and Mr. Albertson.

While NKCG is shut down, please pay attention to this page and the messages being sent by Mr. McDonough and Mr. Albertson. Try to do as much as you are able at home (or outside if the weather is nice like today!), work hard, and have fun!

It's good to be back and, again, I am looking forward to meeting as many of you as I can when we fire it back up.

GET YOUR STUFF READY!

To all Cottage Grove National Karate Students and Parents:
This morning [Sunday] MN Governor Walz announced all public schools across the state will close beginning Wednesday, March 18th, based upon recommendations from national and local governments to minimize the spread of the coronavirus through social distancing.
National Karate takes all recommendations seriously in these dynamic and changing times. Thus we have put the following actions in place:
Classes: Effective Monday, March 16th National Karate will be temporarily suspending all classes. We will re-evaluate next Sunday, March 22nd regarding our next steps we will take and will communicate these actions as soon as we can..
We as an organization are taking many measures to protect the health of our employees, students and parents.
Thank you for your understanding, patience and flexibility during this challenging time. By working together to do our part to stop the spread of this virus we can get back to a regular routine as soon as possible.

All questions and/or concerns can be sent to applevalley@nationalkarate.com and/or
cottagegrove@nationalkarate.com

Respectfully,

Jim Albertson, Owner
